Siyona Bordia
Founder of RightFullyHer
Hi, I’m Siyona and I go to Newark Academy in Livingston, NJ. I’m working with Bright Youth because I believe financial literacy is an important topic to teach to all types of communities, in particular women. I love to spend time with my friends and family, play tennis, sing and read during my free time. I am also the founder of Rightfully Hers - I have founded it because I have seen the discrimination many women face and feel the need to combat it as best I can. My experience with women’s rights and specifically women’s health started when I first read the book about Malala Youzafsai, a youth activist who stood up to the Taliban in support of girls’ education. For over six years, I have been involved with women’s rights attending UN conferences, organizing events, researching maternal health, advocating and working to further the cause of a safer, healthier world for all girls and women. I have led the Girls Education Fund club in my Middle School and lead the POWER club for women’s causes in my High School currently. Helping women is something that fuels me every day and I am so excited to continue this journey with Rightfully Hers to empower women across the globe.
Lina Li

Lina is an incredibly motivated individual with a passion for business and a desire to make positive impact. Since childhood, she has been endlessly curious, seeking new experiences and perspectives to understand the world. Her love for business fuels her active engagement in learning, both within and outside of school.
When her knowledge of the negative impacts of the fashion industry grew, she embarked on a mission to raise awareness about sustainable fashion practices and inspire others to make eco-conscious choices. Lina combined her passion for business into fostering diverse conversations and encouraging collective action towards a more sustainable and ethical industry.
Ziyan Miller

Hi! My name is Ziyan and I am a student in the United States. I would describe myself as a curious and amiable person with a passion for culture and business. I am an educator, dancer, and researcher. I’ve performed with renowned companies such as San Francisco Ballet and Presidio Dance Theatre in front of audiences of over 3,000 people and even toured internationally. I am currently an intern with the 1990 Institute where I write profiles on under-recognized Asian Americans (come check it out @NewAsianAmericanVoices), as well as curate visual inventory, edit videos and write guided reports for the production of educational programming for U.S. high school students.
Mehtab Sangha

Mehtab is passionate about politics and economics, driven by his belief that the connection between the two is often overlooked. His interest in finance began early when he had to manage his monthly allowance, which sparked a curiosity about budgeting and money management. The Covid-19 pandemic and resulting inflation deepened his understanding of economics, leading him to explore how poor political decisions can worsen financial struggles.
Mehtab excelled in business and history, earning top marks and delivering speeches on optimism. As Student Council Treasurer, he negotiated event costs and led a successful fundraiser that raised $1,000 for families in need. Now serving as President, Mehtab continues organizing impactful events for students. His experience in Model Parliament, where he championed financial literacy, reflects his dedication to making meaningful change.
