Over 500 million people worldwide lack access to financial literacy knowledges.

Many young individuals in Thailand who come from disadvantaged backgrounds struggle with managing their money, preventing them from saving or preparing for the future, leading to a continuous cycle of financial instability.

Our story

How It All Began

While the Grand Palace and the Marble Temple are must-see attractions for first-time visitors to Bangkok, many have told me that their most unforgettable moments were spent in smaller, local communities like the Silk Village, Elephant Sanctuary, and Floating Market. These communities are run by locals who have been practicing their crafts for generations. Unfortunately, many of them struggle with poverty because they lack knowledge about managing their money, which often traps them in a cycle of debt.

In these communities, children often help their parents with work. I saw this as an opportunity to help break the cycle of financial hardship by teaching them basic money management skills. This makes it hard for them to save or plan for the future, keeping them stuck in financial instability.

To help address this, I started the Bright Youth Organization to teach these young people the financial skills they need to create a more secure and prosperous future for themselves.

Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10)

Through educational empowerment, the initiative aims to reduce inequalities by providing underprivileged communities with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve their economic situations, thereby addressing disparities in access to resources and opportunities.
